Fundamentals is an A-Z bespoke Local Government Pension Scheme training course for elected members, and has been attended by well over 650 delegates since 2002.
Fundamentals IX is a three day course designed to provide an insight into the LGPS "trusteeship". The course is run at a number of locations and it is possible to attend all three days at the same location or to attend days at different locations. Each day needs to be booked separately.
On this part of the course you will learn about:
- The Benefits Framework "Past and Present"
- The Investment Framework
- BACK TO BASICS - Traditional Asset Classes

Who should attend
All new committee members. Also, other parties who attend pension committees, panel and sub-committees, such as employing authorities, Trade Unions and pensioner representatives.
