Police Negotiating Board: Official Side proposals

The Official Side are currently pursuing the following proposals:

Part-time working and Police Regulations 2003: The Official Side were concerned with anomalies in relation to officers appointed to part-time service, under regulation 5 of the Police Regulations 2003. The Staff Side is currently considering a form of words.
Payment of allowances whilst on sick leave: The Official Side are aware of an anomaly in Police Regulations whereby officers who are no longer entitled to sick pay remain entitled to maintain various allowances. There has been a failure to agree and this has moved to conciliation.
Variable shift arrangements: The Official Side are proposing to amend Annex E of the Police Determinations 2003. There has been a failure to agree and this has moved to conciliation.
